Simple Pleasures
It is amazing how something so simple and everyday can be so special and exciting.
Would you like to know what my simple pleasure is?

My simple pleasure;
When we moved here, to these beautiful mountains, and to this unique old farm house, we found so many wonderful things.
One thing that I fell in love with was an antique iron bed frame. It was all rusted and dirty; With further inspection showed that we were missing the side rails to connect the two ends.
Over the years, the bed was forgotten, refound, foundly thought of, and put away again.
Then.
There was a deal at Wally-world. And I got a kewl new mattress.
So this weekend we started work on reviving the old frame.
It was hard to deside what to do with it. It was very rusty, so that needed to be delt with. Then we needed to paint it some color... but I didn't want to take away from the bed. When we looked at paint we found a type that said it looked like hammered metal when it dried. (very cool look). So, I chose that in black abd silver.

Coffee
Well, Here I sit in one of my favorite places to be..... The coffee shop/Gallery in my little town.
Though I only had a $1.75 to my name I did buy a hot cider... mmmmm good.
A friend of mine and I just got done practicing a song for tomorrow and we were wasting a little time.
I really aught to get home, and help mom make the broccoli soup for tonight, but I decided to check out what daddy had put together for me.
So, anyway, I should be getting out of here and being useful. Have a great day.
